Assistant Sommelier (Wine Jobs: Wine Retail & Sommelier)

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of our Club. (Taking orders and payments, serving food and wine, and preparing the service area)
• Assist guests in making wine & spirits selections and suggest wine pairings
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
• Practice compliance with fire, health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations of the wine lounge area
• Ensure adherence to stock control procedures
• Assist to identify and develop promotional opportunities

Requirements:

• Strong wine knowledge
• Must be dependable, reliable, and a motivated individual. 
• Strong organizational skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Good command of spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. 

Preferred Training and Experience:

• WSET qualifications
• At least 2-3 years of experience in the service industry
