Our client is a global leader in alcoholic beverages with the goal of combining the strengths and expertise of both companies to create a powerful presence in the premium drinks market. They are new seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to expand their business in HK & Macau.
What will you:
Sales Performance
- Achieve the agreed annual sales target
- Open new outlets (direct & indirect) to expand distribution of the Company's core brands among potential customers
- Increase listings of the Company's brands in customers
- Ensure realistic stock level of the Company's core brands kept by customers
Trade Relationships
- Regular sales call and provide quality service to major customers
- Maintain an accurate & updated sales calls plan + survey in ASPIRE
- Understand the consumers & customers preferences & behaviors
- Evaluate the outlet coverage, call frequencies and cycles constantly and propose to the Manager any changes as necessary
Competitors' Business
- Monitor the retail pricing in each outlet and update the system
- Monitor competitors' activities including pricing and placing
Activations
- Recommend venues for sales promotion to Manager
- Ensure promotions are carried out efficiently and effectively within budget
- Ensure individual product promotion, display & merchandising are properly conducted per outlet and reported in ASPIRE
- Work closely with the Customer Marketing Team & Marketing Team to evaluate methods to improve promotions effectiveness and operational efficiencies
- Be passionate & elegant to tell the stories of our brands and embody MH values
Credit & Payment Collections
- Follow financial status of each customer to avoid bad debts
- Ensure collections within due date
Internal relationships
- Accompany overseas principals for market visit as assigned
- Participate in the weekly team meeting to review and update the market activities and information
KEY SELETION CRITERIA
- Possessing industry experience in FMCG, Consumer or Luxury Goods will be highly desirable
- Knowledge and interest in wines & spirits is an advantage
- Excellent sales & negotiation skill
- Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
- Strong analytical and numerical skills and well-structured in problem solving and presentation
- Highly motivated, energetic, quick response
- Customer focused and resulted oriented
- Fluent in English and Cantonese
